We'll be much bigger next season but very young and inexperienced....

I've read on here that both Kaela Kinder (5'10" G, SR) and Michelle Berry (6'1" F, rs-JR) won't be in the program next season. I don't know if this is true or not. If true, we bring back one senior in Kendyl Brooks (5'10" SG). Our juniors will be Aisha Sheppard (5'9" SG) and Trinity Baptiste (6'0" F). Our sophomores will be Dara Mabrey (5'7" SG), Alex Obouh-Fegue (6'4" C), and our freshmen will be Chloe Brooks (5'10" SG), Liz Kitley (6'4" PF/C), Cayla King (5'10" PG), Makayla Ennis (5'11" SG/SG), and Taylor Geiman (6'1" SF). IMHO, Sheppard has a break out year as an every day starter. Mabrey becomes the team leader (unless Kenny makes Kendyl the leader) and gains confidence as the season progresses. Baptiste gets better. I don't expect miracles from any of our true freshmen. I think a few of the freshmen will surprise us in non-conference play but will struggle (like most true freshmen) in ACC play. If Berry returns, we get better in the front court. Berry, Baptiste, Obouh-Fegue, Kitley, and Geiman is a decent front court. Our backcourt will take a hit with Emery leaving but we'll have Sheppard, Mabrey, Brooks sisters, and King. Without Kinder and Berry, we only have 10 scholarship players. We have room for 5 more players. I'm guessing Kenny signs 1-2 JUCO players or brings in a transfer or two. I'd love to see us get a sophomore-junior transfer SG from a major P-5 program. I don't expect a great season in 2019-2020 unless we bring in a few quality players this spring. We'll be lucky to get into the WNIT with the 10-11 players I listed.
